Prachi Mohile, LMHC

Prachi is committed to meeting individuals at their life's juncture, providing a nurturing, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment for their therapeutic journey. She firmly believes that the interaction between one's internal and external spheres can be both the source of difficulties and the terrain for healing. Her collaborative approach aims to support individuals in navigating challenging aspects of themselves, fostering personal development and growth.

Her methodology embodies an integrative, holistic, and multicultural perspective. By integrating various modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), reality therapy, multicultural therapy, and mindfulness, Prachi tailors sessions to align with individual needs. Notably, she has assisted clients in managing stress and anxiety by melding mindfulness practices with CBT techniques, facilitating a deeper comprehension of their multicultural identities.

Prachi, holding an MA in mental health counseling from NYU along with an advanced certificate in LGBT health, education, and social services, brings a compassionate and inclusive approach to her practice. Her prior experience as a residential counselor in psychiatric hospitals and group homes has honed her ability to address a wide array of concerns.

Prachi specializes in assisting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, multicultural identity conflicts, relationship issues (including couples counseling), and navigating the unique aspects of LGBTQ+ life. With a commitment to creating a safe, empathetic space, Prachi empowers her clients to explore their challenges and growth opportunities.
