Prachi Mohile


 

Prachi believes in meeting each person where they are in their life with warmth, empathy, and a judgment-free therapeutic space. She believes that the relationship between the inner and outer world can create issues but can also be where healing takes place. She believes in a collaborative approach between the therapist and the client.

Prachi customizes her care to fit each client’s needs, goals, and strengths, by using an integrative and holistic approach. She uses techniques from various modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotion-focused therapy, multicultural therapy, and mindfulness.

Prachi obtained her MA in Mental Health Counseling from NYU together with an advanced certificate in LGBT Health, Education, and Social Services. Her previous experience includes working as a residential counselor at a psychiatric hospital and group home in Boston.

She provides counseling for various issues such as anxiety, depression, multiculturalism (especially conflicts in identity), relationship issues (including couples counseling), and LGBTQ+ life, among others.
