I'm a licensed mental health counselor with over 20 years of experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy to clients in need. I earned my master’s degree in mental health counseling from Nyack College, and have more recently studied forensic psychology in a post graduate program at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
I am an empathetic, person-centered counselor with expertise in anxiety, depression, anger, and trauma. I have experience leading clients through various relaxation techniques including deep breathing, guided imagery, mindfulness, and other emotional regulation techniques via anger management training and DBT exercises.
