Therapy can be a scary concept for some people, so let’s walk through it together. My goal with my clients is to create a space where they feel safe opening up with the knowledge that they are truly accepted. It can often be difficult to put our experiences into words, and part of my role as a therapist is to provide my clients with the tools necessary to give them the insight necessary to more intentionally navigate their lives.
Our mental health is every bit as important as our physical health. My approach integrates core elements of mindfulness into our work, allowing my clients to be more present in the moment and lead more productive lives. I see every client and their needs as unique, thus requiring individualized treatment plans to help accomplish their goals.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas, and I am completing my Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Manhattan College. I rely on a combination of mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy and other person-centered modalities to help my clients gain a better understanding of themselves and to help create strategies best suited for their ultimate therapy goals./p>
