‘You are not the summary of nights that broke you; you are the mornings that came after.
I am here to dedicate my being to creating safe spaces of collective inquiry for all to flower independently and together, greatly in love and goodness to live compassionate, resilient, and content lives.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania. I am currently completing a Masters's in Mental Health Counseling at New York University with an advanced certificate in LGBT Health, Education, and Social Services.
Before entering the mental health field, I served as an educator and teacher trainer at Teach for India and other nonprofits catering to neurodivergent and neurotypical children from marginalized communities across various countries for the last decade. I have developed an extensive curriculum for children and adults that integrates art and social-emotional learning and published mindfulness journals for all age groups.
I have my own mental health initiative, Mindroom, based in India. I host weekly free group sharing spaces and psycho-education workshops for anyone who needs it using a creative arts approach. With interest in Internal Family Systems (IFS), I use a trauma-informed approach to help clients navigate their inner worlds. I work with clients from all backgrounds and all concerns, but I am keenly interested in working with survivors of childhood and adult trauma, abuse, and sexual or domestic violence.
Together, we will explore your experiences, emotions, and behaviors, identifying the areas where you may need additional support or guidance. I take a collaborative and conversational approach in my sessions, creating a safe and empowering environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings.
It would be an honor and privilege to serve you in your healing journey and ensure it's a journey you look forward to!
