Seeking therapy is one of the most common ways to begin your healing process. One of the first steps to healing is knowing that you want to do better for yourself. I believe that in order to heal, people need to have a safe space to communicate and to explore themselves. I also believe that in order to heal we need to be open to the challenges that the healing process might bring up.
I view therapy as a process that helps you understand what your safe space consists of. I utilize a combination of Cognitive behavioral therapy and person centered to help you zone in on negative thought patterns and to provide you with the skills needed to cope with difficult life situations. My goal is to help you improve your overall well-being.
Therapy is a creative yet difficult process and while life takes us through various walks at some point healing takes the lead. I take pride in working collaboratively with you to discovering who you truly are.
