I believe healing occurs through both insight and connection. Life transitions such as career changes, uncertainty, and identity shifts can significantly impact how we experience ourselves and the world. Perinatal and postpartum experiences can make this emotional terrain even more complex. I strive to create an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming therapeutic space where clients feel seen, supported, and understood.
As a South Asian therapist, I am deeply attuned to the ways culture, family dynamics, and intergenerational narratives shape emotional well-being. My own healing experiences inform the calm, compassionate, and reflective stance I bring to therapy. I am a first-generation Indian immigrant raised in New York, with deep roots in India. Having lived in India and London, and as an avid traveler, I bring a cross-cultural lens and a nuanced understanding of how identity is shaped by lived experience.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and integrative. I draw from psychodynamic, relational, emotionally focused, client-centered, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), mindfulness-based, and somatic frameworks, tailoring our work to each client’s unique needs and goals. I view therapy as an opportunity to deepen self-awareness, reconnect with one’s inner emotional world, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from Boston University and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. I also hold a Holistic Health Coach certification and value the mind-body connection as an essential component of emotional healing.
In addition to English, I offer sessions in Gujarati and Hindi.
