I believe therapy is a collaborative process that helps people better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and build meaningful change. My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy while incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which explores how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. I tailor treatment to each individual’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals while helping clients develop practical skills they can use in their daily lives.I enjoy working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship concerns, and identity development. As a Navy veteran, I have a special appreciation for the unique experiences of veterans, military families, and individuals facing major life changes. My long-term professional interests include trauma-informed care and supporting individuals who have experienced adversity with resilience and compassion.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling at Capella University.
