Michael Barry Gray
I focus on identifying clients’ strengths while collaboratively exploring the life they want to create for themselves. I believe therapy is a space for discovery, reflection, and growth, where individuals can begin to better understand the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that shape the way they move through the world. My goal as a counselor is to co-create a brave and supportive space where clients feel free to express themselves openly and without judgment. My approach is integrative and grounded in curiosity, self-awareness, and meaning-making. Together, we can explore the assumptions we carry, the obstacles we encounter, and the ways our past experiences may continue to influence our present lives and relationships. I aim to help clients deepen their understanding of themselves while also supporting practical and meaningful change.

I received a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Philosophy from Fairfield University and am currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at St. Bonaventure University. My behavioral background working within Family Systems has prepared me to work with clients across the developmental spectrum. I am also a RYT-200, and aspects of Buddhism and yoga inform my counseling approach and understanding of mindfulness, presence, and emotional balance. I have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and periods of transition. I also have experience sitting with individuals during psychedelic experiences and understand the importance of creating a grounded, intentional, and supportive environment for exploration and healing. I believe the experiences and challenges within our lives often become the curriculum for our growth and evolution. My role is to listen, reflect, challenge, and support you throughout that process. Together, we will create a treatment plan that aligns with your current needs and goals, while fostering greater awareness, honesty, and trust in yourself as you move toward a more fulfilling and authentic life. I look forward to joining you on the journey.
