Margaret Griffin, MHC-LP
I believe that the road to mental health and wellness begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and accepted—exactly as you are. My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. I strive to create a space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and person-centered therapy integrating practical tools for managing distress with deeper exploration into the patterns and past experiences that shape your inner world. Whether you're encountering anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or a desire for greater self-understanding, we'll work together to build insight and create meaningful change.

Above all, I see therapy as a partnership. I honor your pace, your goals, and your unique story. I’m here to support you every step of the way.

I received my M.S.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University. Prior to pursuing my master’s degree, I received a B.A. in Psychological Science from Colgate University and contributed to pediatric developmental research projects promoting positive parenting among families across New York City. Throughout my clinical training, I have gained experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents and adults from all walks of life navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
