When life feels overwhelming or confusing, having someone alongside you can make a real difference. I’m an Advanced Clinical Resident at the Soho Center, and I approach therapy as a collaborative process; one where we work together to better understand what you’re carrying and how it’s showing up in your life.
I believe you are the expert on your own experience. My role isn’t to tell you who to be or what you should feel, but to help you slow things down, get curious, and make sense of your emotions, patterns, and relationships in a way that feels meaningful and supportive. Many people come to therapy feeling unsure how to put their experience into words, and part of our work is creating space for those thoughts and feelings to take shape at a pace that feels right for you.
Clients I work with often want to better understand their emotions, navigate relationship challenges, move through life transitions, or shift patterns that no longer feel helpful. I pay close attention to how emotions show up in your day-to-day life and relationships, and we explore together how past experiences may be influencing the present. While I often draw from psychodynamic ideas, our work stays grounded in your current goals, needs, and what feels most important to you right now.
I don’t believe therapy should follow a preset formula. Instead, I adapt my approach to each individual, guided by your values, your experiences, and what feels most supportive in the moment. My aim is to offer a space where you can be honest, uncertain, or vulnerable, without pressure to have everything figured out or to move toward a specific outcome before you’re ready.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Manhattan University and am currently completing my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling while working toward LMHC licensure. I recognize that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and I take that seriously. My hope is to provide a steady, thoughtful presence as we work together to deepen self-understanding and support you in moving forward in a way that feels authentic to you.
