I work with adults and adolescents navigating emotional and life challenges, including anxiety, repetitive thought patterns, and periods of change. These experiences may show up as feeling overwhelmed by uncertainty or having difficulty managing stress during change.Drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and a person-centered approach, I help clients better understand how these patterns of worry, stress, or self-doubt show up everyday situations. From there, the work becomes focused on developing more manageable ways of responding when those patterns arise. This often includes noticing unhelpful thought cycles, understanding emotional reactions, and practicing coping strategies that can be used in the moment.

As a Hispanic American woman, I am especially mindful of the ways culture influences how we understand ourselves and experience everyday life. This awareness is an important part of my approach, and I pay close attention to how each client’s identity and lived experience shape their story. While I work at The Soho Center, I am completing a graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling at New York University and earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University at Albany.
