I believe that therapy is one of the few places where you can slow down, be heard without judgement, and explore the experiences that have shaped who you are. Therapy can offer an opportunity to better understand yourself, build resilience, and create meaningful change. My goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow at your own pace.
My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while recognizing that every person’s experiences, strengths, and goals are unique. I strive to work together to fit your individual needs, helping you develop practical skills while fostering greater self-understanding and self-compassion. I have experience working in substance use and recovery settings, LGBTQIA+ folk, children and adolescents, and with individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. These experiences have reinforced the importance of meeting each person with openness, curiosity, and respect.I earned my bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from SUNY University at Buffalo, where I developed a deep appreciation for the connection between the brain, behavior, and emotional well-being, and am currently pursuing a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling at CUNY Baruch. My background in neuroscience sparked my interest in understanding how people think and feel and how our experiences shape the way we navigate the world. This passion led me to counseling, where I can combine scientific understanding with genuine human connection.
