Heather Smith
It can be profoundly isolating to feel unseen or misunderstood—especially by those closest to you. I understand how painful it is to navigate a world that doesn’t always feel welcoming or built for you. I often work with individuals who feel out of place or marginalized, including those healing from childhood trauma, managing chronic pain or illness, living with disabilities or neurodivergence, and/or exploring gender or sexuality.

My approach is collaborative and insight-oriented, grounded in psychodynamic therapy. Together, we’ll explore how your past relationships and emotional experiences shape your present thoughts, patterns, and ways of being. By bringing these into awareness, we can create room for healing, shift entrenched dynamics, and foster meaningful growth.

In our work, you won’t need to mask, shrink, or edit yourself to feel accepted. My goal is to help you cultivate belonging and self-trust—so you can move through the world with more freedom, intention, and authenticity.
