Sometimes we get lost on the journey to self, but together we will get you back on the path to finding you. My beliefs are deeply rooted in the notion that everyone has a unique story that is worthy of honor. I aim to create a safe, welcoming and non judgmental space for individuals of all backgrounds to explore their emotional and mental well being.
Utilizing a person-centered, trauma informed, holistic approach; I emphasize the importance of self care, mindfulness, somatic and evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support you in achieving balance and resilience. My background in case management and teaching has given me the opportunity to work with adults and children from a multicultural perspective. Having Caribbean roots has also played a part in being able to see things through a culturally inclusive lens.
I have earned my Bachelors with honors in psychology from The City College of New York. and currently pursuing my Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Lehman College. In addition to my training in Mental Health Counseling, I am a certified yoga teacher and often draw practices to support holistic healing.
Looking forward to partaking in this journey with you in helping you feel empowered, whole, and connected to self.
