I am a firm believer in the transformative nature of therapy, as it can help every person, regardless of background, gain deep insights into their own minds. I primarily take a psychodynamic approach, working with you to explore the roots of your mental and emotional processes. I also utilize cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapies, focusing on the interplay of thoughts, behaviors, and feelings, as well as the regulation of emotions.
In addition to working at The Soho Center, I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Professional Counseling at Seton Hall University. I previously graduated from Seton Hall University with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Throughout my studies, I have researched and worked to better understand the struggles individuals face when dealing with mental health challenges. Additionally, I have researched how different mental health challenges may manifest and affect law enforcement populations, as well as their immediate and extended support structures.
My goal is to work with all clients to create personal and effective treatment plans that seek to help them in the parts of their life that may be causing distress. I have a particular interest in working with clients experiencing struggles with stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
