CONFIDENTIAL AND AFFORDABLE… CALL US FOR AN APPOINTMENT. WE ARE HERE FOR YOU

Roxanna Alvarado

Therapy is all about you and the meaningful life you want to create for yourself. I firmly believe in creating a safe space through the development of an authentic, honest, compassionate, and trustworthy alliance. It isn’t easy seeking help, but it isn’t any easier handling your daily struggles alone—I am here to listen to and hold your pain with you. Also, I am fluent in Spanish and value cultural diversity and awareness. Together we will collaborate to achieve the unique goals and changes you want for your life.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Hofstra University, where I served as a Mental Health peer mentor. Additionally, I am currently completing my Master’s in Mental Health and Counseling at Hofstra University. Some of my clinical experience entails working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced life with Autism, depression, anxiety, substance use, homelessness, and domestic violence. My approach to therapy varies from client to client as every person requires something different. My goal is to tailor your therapeutic experience to be what is most suitable for you by incorporating theories and techniques from person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and mindfulness. Thank you for your time and I look forward to embarking on this journey with you!
