Amarfi Collado

I strongly believe in the power of mindfulness. My mindfulness approach is a realistic one in which we explore practical ways to increase your awareness of the present. As a psychotherapist I provide integrative, trauma-informed, and social justice care unique to your needs. In that way, finding moments of release where eventually you will start to feel more grounded. During our work together, we will dedicate intentional time towards dismantling the existent barriers and patterns in your life that may stop you from existing in a way that feels whole to you.

I place great emphasis on co-creating an empowering & safe space. I pay close attention to intersectionality and how each unique identity impacts the individual’s self-concept in relation to the world. I believe that you have what is needed to dismantle the existent barriers in your life that may stop you from becoming who you want to be. In our sessions, I will guide you in recovering those existent tools and parts that might have been shadowed by daily struggles and generational trauma. I invite you to reach out to me and begin the meaningful work of exploring the connection between your mind & body, and how they influence each other..

I work with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, communication skills, and life coaching, among others. As we work together, I invite you to share your story with me through your lens. I strive to be a witness to your story and to support you in celebrating and affirming your identities.
