Charles Mathon
Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here.

Choosing to begin counseling is a courageous and powerful step, and I commend you for taking it. My goal as your therapist is to foster a warm, collaborative relationship where you feel seen, heard, and supported in creating meaningful, lasting change in your life.

I take a client-centered, eclectic approach to therapy, tailoring each session to your unique goals, strengths, and needs. Drawing from evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, I strive to create a secure, non-judgmental space for reflection, growth, and self-discovery.

I have experience working with a diverse range of clients, including professionals navigating workplace stress, children and teens facing developmental and emotional challenges, and individuals in recovery from substance use. No matter where you’re starting from, I’ll meet you there—with compassion, curiosity, and a deep commitment to your progress.

Before entering the field of mental health, I earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from Middlebury College and spent over a decade working in finance, communications, and public relations. That work gave me a deep appreciation for the challenges people face in high-pressure environments and sparked a passion for helping individuals reconnect with themselves and their potential.

If you’re ready to explore what’s holding you back and move toward a more empowered, grounded version of yourself, I’d be honored to support you on that journey.
