Each person brings a unique story shaped by intersecting identities, life experiences, and personal values. I believe healing isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s a personal, evolving journey toward greater awareness, authenticity, and connection. As a counselor, I aim to create a space where you feel safe to explore, reflect, and grow into your most empowered self.
Together, we’ll work through challenges like trauma, loss, identity exploration, relationship issues, or life transitions, while also supporting your curiosity, goals, and sense of purpose. We’ll examine patterns that no longer serve you, build insight, develop coping tools, and strengthen self-compassion. We’ll explore how your past informs your present and how to create meaningful change.
My approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness. I also incorporate narrative, trauma-informed, and affirmative frameworks to support your full identity and lived experience. Therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to your needs and pace.
Originally from Costa Rica, I offer therapy in both English and Spanish. I hold a Master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness and a Bachelor’s in Applied Psychology, both from NYU. I’m also a yoga instructor and marathon runner, and often draw from movement and mindfulness practices as part of the healing process.
