I believe that therapy should be a collaborative effort between therapist and client. I provide an empathetic and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their inner thoughts, conflicts, and daily lives. I take a holistic approach to psychotherapy, incorporating the mind, body, and spirit and their connection to mental well-being. I have a background in cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, feminist therapy, and mindfulness practices. I believe that each individual is unique and will work with you to create a therapeutic procedure that is best catered to your needs. I am driven by social justice and hope to work with clients from all backgrounds and identities, with a special interest in working with the LGBTQ population.
I am currently completing my Master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University and obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Temple University. As well as having clinical experience, I have conducted research regarding emotional dysregulation and personality disorders.
