I believe that the journey of self-discovery and healing begins in a non-judgmental, warm and supportive environment. I will meet you where you are at, and provide you with a safe and holding space where you feel seen and heard.
I believe that the challenges that we experience in our day-to-day life are rooted in our past experiences and our early attachments and relationships. Through this collaborative process, my aim is to provide you with the tools and resources you need to surpass the struggles and challenges that come with life. I will help you gain insight and awareness about your past and present, and empower you to create meaningful connections and achieve wellness. In my practice, I will integrate psychodynamic theory, cognitive-behavioral theory, person-centered approaches, and multicultural theory to provide you with an individualized service that is tailored to your needs and desires.
I studied Psychology in Austin Texas, where I also had the opportunity to work as a research volunteer with adults and children with mood disorders. I completed my master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University, and have experience working with children and families impacted by incarceration.
I’m dedicated to helping my clients on their journey to unpack and heal past wounds, improve their day-to-day functioning and create therapeutic goals to cultivate a better future. I look forward to working with you!
I can provide therapy sessions in English and Spanish. I am looking forward to working with you!
