As a therapist, I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their experiences and address what brings them into therapy. I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship; therefore, my approach is supportive, compassionate, and collaborative.
I received my undergraduate and graduate degree in General Psychology from Adelphi University, and a graduate degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. I have previous experience working at Pride for Youth, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing wellness services to LGBTQ+ individuals. In addition to my experience working with individual clients, I co-facilitated a support group for individuals who identify as transgender, gender non-conforming and non-binary, and an after-school group for LGBTQ+ youth.
Based on my training and experience, I utilize a Strength-Based and Person-Centered approach while incorporating concepts from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic therapy among others to best fit the needs of my clients. I am dedicated to helping my clients achieve their goals, and look forward to working with you.
