Arabella Oz

My role as your therapist is to hold space and gently facilitate the courageous work of self-exploration, as we process your unique life experience and connect to your inherent resources. I have specialized education in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma, family dynamics, and systems theory. Additionally, my life experience as a creative with nearly ten years in the entertainment industry provides me with an informed perspective on the challenges of expression, identity, and what it is like to be “seen” authentically today. In the therapeutic relationship I value unwavering honesty and presence with compassion, as a means to develop clarity, confidence, and catharsis. I received my BA from Columbia University and am currently finishing my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness at New York University.
