Ortal is a Mental Health Counselor who obtained her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University and holds a Family Psychotherapy Masters in Arts from Columbia University-Teachers college, as well as her Bachelor in Arts in Psychology from Hofstra University.
She has experience working with individuals of all populations, from seven years old to geriatric age and has worked with various diagnoses.
Ortal practices and emphasizes her genuine and non-judgmental approach and incorporates positive psychology and mindfulness-based interventions to help clients reach their individual goals.
Ortal is interested in working with adolescents on improving their self-esteem and confidence lifting using a variety of methods.
Outside of the office, Ortal enjoys spending time outdoors and being active with her dog. She would like to travel the world and experience different cultures and learn about their habits and practices.
