I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy and that the therapist client relationship is essential to achieve a desired outcome. I provide a supportive, compassionate, and non-judgmental stance, while also motivating and challenging clients to explore new horizons towards their desired outcomes. My theoretical orientation is catered to each individual clients’ needs to help my clients become the best version of themselves. I combine Psychodynamic, Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Multicultural Counseling, Strength-Based, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy to enhance my client’s experiences and achieve their ultimate goals of treatment.

I studied psychology for over 10 years and graduated at the top of my class with a Master’s degree from New York University. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Hunter College. Additionally, I previously studied psychology at university in Eastern Europe. I am a member of the American Mental Health Counseling and the New York Mental Health Counseling Associations.

I specialize in trauma/PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, self-esteem, depression, grief, and addiction. I also have extensive experience working with multicultural clients on topics such as immigration, acculturation, and assimilation.

I am fluent in English and Russian and provide sessions in both languages.
