Finding the right therapist for you can often feel daunting and discouraging. I believe that a client and therapist’s relationship is a strong bond essential to the therapeutic process, so my approach is based largely on the feelings in the therapy (or zoom!) room. I strive to provide therapy within an empathetic, safe, non-judgmental, and honest space and welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities. Every person has a journey in life and every person’s journey is special. Therapy allows you to share your journey with someone else and I will be by your side to listen and support you during this part of yours.
I currently practice from a Psychodynamic Therapy lens with an emphasis on Object Relations. However, with my knowledge of numerous therapeutic orientations, I will coordinate with you to create a therapeutic treatment that meets your unique needs. My expertise includes substance abuse, eating, trauma, mood instability, and anxiety but I am also here to help you with any issues surrounding depression, relationships, communication, work, overall life stress, and overall mental health. We will work together in a warm and authentic space to help you conquer all of life’s challenges.
I am currently completing a Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at San Antonio. I am passionate about mental wellness and look forward to crafting a fruitful relationship with you that yields healing, growth, and hope.
