"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." — Carl Rogers
I recognize the importance of fostering a genuine connection with one another as we embark on a journey of self-discovery. By creating a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space, I aim to help build resilience, self-compassion, and well-being. The blend of person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based practices will support the frameworks that will guide our work together in developing adaptive coping skills, enhancing self-awareness, and reinforcing your journey toward positive change through a deeper connection and acceptance of your unique self.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology at CUNY Queens College and am currently pursuing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The Chicago School. I am also a member of the Association for Creativity in Counseling, where I focus on integrating yoga practice as a creative outlet for counseling strategies. I am also fluent in Turkish and am open to providing sessions.
I look forward to being a part of your journey!
