I believe that strong Mental Health is a foundation for a happy and resilient life. Discovering and embracing our authentic selves, staying true to who we are, and following our heart’s calling is an exciting journey yet challenging to take. Working in a therapeutic alliance with a Mental Health Counselor once changed my life and now I am offering to walk the path of change together with my clients. My theoretical orientation is the integration of Existential, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems.
I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Hunter College. As a certified Family Constellations Facilitator, I work with intergenerational influences in today's behaviors, helping my clients to see their family patterns and get healed. I used to accompany people in their final stage of the life journey as a volunteer at MJHS hospice and I learned that when we cannot bring time to our life, we can bring life and meaning to our time. As a Counselor I used to work with little children and their parents, providing social-emotional skills training and support. As I have a Master of Law in background.
Having a Master of Law Education, I also incorporate my skills of Alternative Dispute Resolution (Mediation) in my practice.
